Which companies in Tennessee sponsor visas for growth roles?
Nashville-based employers are the most active sponsors for growth positions in Tennessee. HCA Healthcare, Asurion, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center have documented H-1B sponsorship histories for roles in marketing analytics, growth strategy, and digital acquisition. Tech-adjacent companies headquartered in the Nashville metro, along with FedEx in Memphis for logistics-focused growth roles, represent the primary sponsoring employers in the state.
What visa types are most common for growth roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B is the most common visa for growth professionals in Tennessee, covering roles like growth analyst, marketing analyst, and product growth manager when the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT from U.S. universities may also enter growth roles before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship through an employer petition.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most growth visa sponsorship jobs?
Nashville is Tennessee's dominant market for growth job sponsorship, driven by its concentration of healthcare technology, fintech, and consumer brands. The greater Nashville metro, including Brentwood and Franklin where several corporate headquarters are located, accounts for the majority of sponsored growth positions. Memphis offers secondary opportunities, particularly within supply chain, logistics, and retail-adjacent growth roles tied to companies like FedEx and AutoZone.
How to find growth visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, letting you filter growth roles in Tennessee by visa sponsorship history so you avoid applying to employers unlikely to sponsor. Because growth is a broad function spanning analytics, marketing, and product, using Migrate Mate's role-specific filters helps narrow results to positions where international candidates have genuinely been sponsored before, saving significant time in a competitive hiring process.
Are there state-specific considerations for growth professionals seeking sponsorship in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since DOL wage determinations are based on national and metro-level data rather than state tax treatment. Growth roles in Nashville often compete with high-cost coastal markets for talent, so employers there have demonstrated willingness to sponsor when candidates bring specialized skills in data-driven growth, CRM strategy, or performance marketing that are harder to source locally.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
