ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
How you'll make an impact in this role:
Provides charge nurse leadership, supporting nursing staff, coordinating patient assignments, and serving as a clinical resource on the unit.
Lead the specialized recovery of patients following Cardiac, IR, and EP procedures, ensuring every intervention meets rigorous safety standards and clinical protocols.
Monitor and evaluate post-procedural recovery in real-time, communicating vital clinical shifts to the care team to ensure immediate response and personalized care adjustments.
Coordinate as the central advocate between specialized disciplines to ensure a seamless, well-navigated care journey for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
* Manage the full discharge process, ensuring patients and families transition from the unit with clarity and confidence.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
* Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
