Passionate, driven people dedicated to making a difference in healthcare.
Are you looking for an opportunity to get into the growing health care field? Look no further, we will train you! SpecialtyCare provides a comprehensive in-house training program that will help you gain valuable skills and a career in health care. SpecialtyCare autotransfusion technicians play a vital role in the health and well-being of our patients. Autotransfusion, also called cell salvage, is the process of collecting shed blood, separating the red cells from the plasma, washing the red cells, and re-administering them to the patient.
As a Clinical Technician in Autotransfusion with SpecialtyCare, you will be trained to run the equipment that purifies the patient’s blood and then returns the blood to the patient. Recycling the patient’s own blood, instead of transfusing donor blood, has been shown to reduce recovery time and prevents the adverse effects that can occur with donor blood. We also provide cell-based therapies, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and bone marrow aspirate concentrate.

Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for clinical technicians?
Large hospital systems and academic medical centers are the most consistent sponsors. Houston Methodist, UT Southwestern Medical Center, Baylor Scott & White Health, HCA Houston Healthcare, and Texas Children's Hospital have documented histories of sponsoring H-1B visa and other work visas for clinical technician roles. Research-affiliated institutions and multi-site health networks tend to have dedicated immigration support infrastructure, making them more likely to sponsor than smaller independent clinics.
What visa types are most common for clinical technician roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for clinical technicians, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Some positions, particularly in research or academic hospital settings, may also see TN visas used by Canadian and Mexican nationals. Clinical technician roles in areas like cardiovascular technology, surgical technology, or laboratory science typically have clearer specialty occupation arguments than generalist support positions.
Which cities in Texas have the most clinical technician visa sponsorship jobs?
Houston leads the state due to the Texas Medical Center, one of the largest medical complexes in the world, which houses dozens of hospitals and research institutions actively recruiting internationally. Dallas and Fort Worth follow closely, with UT Southwestern and major HCA facilities driving demand. San Antonio has a strong military and Veterans Affairs healthcare presence, and Austin's growing healthcare sector is expanding sponsorship activity as the city attracts new hospital campuses.
How to find clinical technician visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship jobs in the U.S. You can filter directly by clinical technician roles in Texas to see employers actively open to sponsorship. This is more efficient than broad job searches because listings are curated for international applicants, saving time you would otherwise spend screening out positions where sponsorship is not on offer.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for clinical technicians seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas does not require state licensing for all clinical technician classifications, but roles involving patient contact, laboratory work, or cardiovascular procedures often require national certification from bodies such as AMCA, ASCP, or CCI. Employers sponsoring H-1B visas must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the specific role and county, which varies across Houston, Dallas, and rural regions. Candidates from University of Texas or Texas A&M affiliated programs may have an easier path to employer familiarity and initial sponsorship conversations.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored clinical technician jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
