Which fintech companies in Texas sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Texas-based fintech and financial technology employers with documented H-1B1 visa Singapore sponsorship history include JPMorgan Chase, American Airlines Federal Credit Union, Dell Financial Services, Visa Inc., and Fiserv, all of which maintain significant technology operations in the state. Insurance technology and payments processing firms in Dallas and Austin have also filed Labor Condition Applications for Singapore nationals in specialty occupation roles.
Which Texas cities have the most fintech H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads Texas for fintech H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship, driven by the concentration of bank technology centers, payments processors, and insurance technology firms in the Metroplex. Austin is the second-most active city, particularly for fintech startups and software-driven financial services. Houston rounds out the top three, with energy-adjacent financial technology and trading platform companies sponsoring Singapore nationals in quantitative and engineering roles.
What types of fintech roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in Texas?
Roles that consistently qualify are those requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related technical or financial field. In Texas fintech, this includes software engineers building payments infrastructure, quantitative analysts in trading or risk, data scientists working on fraud detection, financial systems architects, and cybersecurity engineers supporting regulated financial platforms. General business or sales roles without a specific degree requirement typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard under the H-1B1 category.
How do I find fintech H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate lists fintech roles in Texas where employers have verified H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history, drawn from DOL Labor Condition Application filings. You can filter by state, visa type, and industry to see which Dallas, Austin, and Houston employers are actively sponsoring Singapore nationals. This is more reliable than a general job search because sponsorship willingness is confirmed through filing data rather than self-reported employer claims.
Are there any Texas-specific or fintech-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects compensation structuring but not the sponsorship process itself. For fintech specifically, roles at entities regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency or the Texas Department of Banking may require background checks or licensing that can affect onboarding timelines independently of visa processing. Singapore nationals should also confirm that their employer files the Labor Condition Application with OFLC before the visa application is submitted at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore, as the certified LCA is a required document.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore fintech jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
