Which companies sponsor visas for partnerships managers in Texas?
Large technology and enterprise companies with established Texas presences are among the most consistent sponsors for partnerships manager roles. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, Oracle in Austin, AT&T in Dallas, and numerous SaaS and cloud infrastructure firms across the Austin metro have sponsored H-1B petitions for partnerships and business development positions. Houston-based energy companies and large healthcare systems also hire internationally for partnerships functions, particularly roles tied to strategic alliances and vendor management.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships manager roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for partnerships managers in Texas, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or a related discipline. Candidates from Canada or Mexico may qualify for TN status under the NAFTA successor agreement if the role aligns with a recognized TN occupation. Those with extraordinary achievements in business development may explore the O-1A, though that category requires substantial documented recognition.
Which cities in Texas have the most partnerships manager sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads Texas for partnerships manager sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of technology companies and startups with international hiring programs. Dallas-Fort Worth follows closely, home to corporate headquarters across telecom, finance, and enterprise software. Houston contributes meaningful volume through energy, healthcare, and logistics sectors, where strategic partnerships roles are common. San Antonio has a smaller but growing share, particularly tied to cybersecurity firms and regional healthcare networks.
How to find partnerships manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship, and filters results by role and state so you can browse partnerships manager openings in Texas without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. Beyond the job board, targeting companies with a documented history of H-1B filings in Texas and applying directly through their careers pages improves your chances, since partnerships roles often involve relationship-intensive hiring processes where direct outreach carries weight.
Are there state-specific factors that affect partnerships manager sponsorship in Texas?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since employers set compensation without that variable. The Texas economy's diversity across tech, energy, healthcare, and logistics means partnerships manager roles span a wide range of industries, each with different sponsorship norms. Austin's university pipeline, including UT Austin's MBA and McCombs programs, contributes internationally educated candidates who are already in the H-1B or OPT pipeline, making Texas employers more familiar with sponsorship processes than employers in smaller markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
