Which companies sponsor visas for account executives in Utah?
Several technology and software companies headquartered in Utah have a track record of sponsoring work visas for account executives, including Adobe, Qualtrics, Domo, Pluralsight, and Podium. Enterprise software and SaaS firms along the Wasatch Front tend to file H-1B visa and other work visa petitions more frequently than companies in other industries, given their need for specialized sales talent with technical knowledge.
Which visa types are most common for account executive roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most commonly used visa for account executives in Utah when the role requires a specific bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline tied to the product being sold. The O-1A is another option for candidates with demonstrated exceptional achievement in sales or business. Australians may also pursue the E-3 visa, which follows a similar framework to the H-1B but without the annual lottery.
Which cities in Utah have the most account executive sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and its suburbs, particularly Lehi and Draper in the area known as Silicon Slopes, account for the majority of account executive visa sponsorship activity in Utah. Provo also has a notable concentration of tech employers, partly driven by proximity to Brigham Young University. Outside this corridor, sponsorship opportunities for account executives are considerably less frequent.
How to find account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate is specifically built for international job seekers and filters account executive roles in Utah by visa sponsorship status, so you can focus only on employers open to sponsoring. Rather than sorting through thousands of general listings, Migrate Mate surfaces positions at Utah companies with an active sponsorship history, making the search more targeted for candidates who need H-1B, E-3 visa, or O-1 visa support.
Are there any Utah-specific considerations for account executives seeking visa sponsorship?
Utah's Silicon Slopes corridor has produced a high density of SaaS and enterprise software companies, which generally have more experience navigating work visa processes than employers in other industries. Account executive roles here often require demonstrable technical product knowledge, which can strengthen the case that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation under H-1B standards. The state's relatively lower cost of living compared to coastal tech hubs can also factor into prevailing wage determinations that employers must meet during the sponsorship process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account executive jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
