Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for compliance analysts?
Financial institutions with significant Utah operations, including Zions Bancorporation, Goldman Sachs, and various credit unions headquartered in Salt Lake City, have filed H-1B visa petitions for compliance-related roles. Healthcare organizations like Intermountain Health and technology companies in the Silicon Slopes corridor also appear in federal LCA disclosure data as sponsors for compliance analyst positions.
Which visa types are most common for compliance analyst roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for compliance analysts in Utah, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related field. Candidates from Canada or Mexico may also be eligible for TN visa status under the USMCA, provided the role and degree align with qualifying TN professional categories.
Which cities in Utah have the most compliance analyst visa sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the large majority of compliance analyst sponsorship activity in Utah, driven by its concentration of banks, insurance companies, and regulated healthcare systems. Provo and the broader Utah County area contribute through fintech and software companies in the Silicon Slopes tech corridor. Ogden has a smaller but present compliance hiring presence tied to manufacturing and federal contractors.
How to find compliance analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse compliance analyst openings in Utah without sorting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can search by role and state to surface employers actively hiring and willing to sponsor, which is particularly useful in Utah's mix of finance, healthcare, and tech sectors where sponsorship policies vary significantly by company.
Are there any Utah-specific considerations for compliance analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Utah's compliance job market is shaped by its heavy concentration of financial services and healthcare, both of which are federally regulated industries with consistent demand for credentialed compliance professionals. The University of Utah and Brigham Young University produce accounting and finance graduates who feed this pipeline, meaning employers are familiar with academic credentials in these fields. International candidates with CPA eligibility, CAMS certification, or regulatory affairs backgrounds tend to be more competitive in this market.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored compliance analyst jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
