Which companies sponsor visas for product directors in Utah?
Several established tech employers in Utah have sponsored visas for senior product roles, including Adobe, Qualtrics, Domo, and Pluralsight. Larger enterprises in the Salt Lake City area with dedicated HR and legal teams are generally better positioned to manage H-1B sponsorship for product director-level hires than early-stage startups.
Which visa types are most common for product director roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product directors in Utah, given the role's typical requirement of a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or engineering. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may also qualify for the O-1A. Australian citizens may explore the E-3 as an additional option.
Which cities in Utah have the most product director sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and its surrounding corridor, including Lehi, Draper, and Provo, account for the vast majority of product director sponsorship activity in Utah. This area, sometimes called Silicon Slopes, hosts the highest concentration of software and SaaS companies in the state, making it the primary geography for senior product leadership roles.
How to find product director visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse product director openings in Utah without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. Because the platform focuses on international candidates, the listings are pre-screened for sponsorship signals, which saves significant time when targeting senior product roles in Utah's tech hubs.
Are there state-specific considerations for product directors seeking visa sponsorship in Utah?
Utah's Silicon Slopes ecosystem attracts a high volume of product talent, which means competition for senior roles is meaningful even among sponsored candidates. Employers here tend to favor product directors with SaaS or enterprise software backgrounds. The state's strong ties to Brigham Young University and the University of Utah also create active local candidate pipelines that international applicants will be competing alongside.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product director jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
