We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. - Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, medication administration under supervision, and basic wound care following aseptic techniques.
- Support patient safety by maintaining infection control standards and adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality.
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for individuals with complex needs like dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health conditions.
- Transport patients safely within the facility or to external appointments using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in diverse settings such as hospitals (including ICU, trauma centers, PICU), long-term care facilities, hospice, or home care environments.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices including aseptic technique.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, dementia (including memory and Alzheimer’s care), or behavioral health needs.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and basic life support (BLS) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on geriatrics, pediatrics, acute care, or post-acute settings such as sub-acute or outpatient clinics.
- Competence in handling specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts and managing infectious disease protocols in high-acuity environments such as Level I trauma centers or emergency departments.
