The Department of STEM Education & Professional Studies seeks applicants for a 10-month faculty position as a Lecturer of Library & Information Studies to start July 25, 2027. The primary responsibilities for this position are:
- To develop and teach graduate, distance learning courses in library and information studies.
- To participate in the administration and recruitment initiatives of the Master of Library and Information Studies program.
- To develop and maintain relationships with employers in libraries, archives, and other related institutions to assist with recruitment, program growth, and placements.
- To participate in the professional and intellectual community through service in the program, department, and college.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Library and Information studies or related area of study.

- Expertise and experience in the areas of digital scholarship, archival studies, special collections (rare books and manuscripts), and scholarly communications, or school librarianship.
- Demonstrated breadth of knowledge of the library profession.
- Evidence of a commitment to student success.
