Position Overview:
Location: Flexible - Seattle, WA (Hybrid) preferred, or Remote US
SAFR Guard is looking for a driven, resilient, and highly motivated individual to help fuel our growing sales pipeline. This is not a passive role — we’re looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of opening doors, starting conversations, and creating opportunities where others have failed.
In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of our outbound sales efforts, helping us connect with decision-makers across small and mid-sized retail organizations. You’ll combine investigative-style research, strategic outreach, and high-volume calling to identify key contacts, generate interest, and schedule qualified meetings for our sales team.
We all know that outbound sales is challenging, and it’s not for everyone. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on competition, enjoys building relationships, and wants to develop a long-term career in technology sales. If you’re energized by goals, motivated by results, and excited to create opportunities through persistence and creativity, you’ll fit right in.
If you want to build a high-growth sales career, this is where it begins.
What you’ll do:
You will own outbound prospecting through high-volume outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels. Your mission, if you choose to accept it:
Identify and engage key decision-makers in retail sub-verticals.
Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the SAFR Guard Account Executives.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads to drive pipeline growth and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
Partner closely with Account Executives to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach strategy.
Execute creative outbound campaigns designed to break into new accounts and spark customer conversations.
Maintain organized and accurate activity tracking within CRM and prospecting platforms.
* Consistently hit — and exceed — activity, meeting, and pipeline generation goals.
What we are looking for:
1–3+ years of outbound sales, business development, lead generation, or prospecting experience.
Confidence making cold calls and engaging business decision-makers.
Proven ability to meet or exceed outreach and performance goals.
Strong communication skills across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
High resilience, self-motivation, and comfort handling rejection.
Experience with CRM and prospecting platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools.
* Experience in SaaS, AI, physical security, or technology industries is a plus.
Salary range for this position: $55,000 – 75,000 plus variable compensation (20-30% of Salary)

Which companies sponsor visas for sales business development roles in Washington?
Technology companies headquartered or with major operations in Washington, including Microsoft, Amazon, Salesforce, and Tableau, have a documented history of sponsoring H-1B visa and other work visas for business development and sales roles. Enterprise software, cloud services, and SaaS companies concentrated in the Seattle and Bellevue corridor represent the most active sponsoring employers in this category.
Which visa types are most common for sales business development roles in Washington?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales business development roles in Washington, typically applying to positions that require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field and involve technical or enterprise sales. The L-1B intracompany transferee visa is also relevant for professionals moving from a foreign affiliate into a U.S.-based business development function. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles.
Which cities in Washington have the most sales business development sponsorship jobs?
Seattle and Bellevue account for the large majority of visa-sponsored sales and business development positions in Washington, driven by the concentration of technology, cloud computing, and enterprise software companies. Redmond is also significant given Microsoft's headquarters presence. Outside the Eastside corridor, Kirkland and Bothell have growing employer bases in healthcare technology and life sciences that occasionally sponsor international business development professionals.
How to find sales business development visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse sales and business development roles in Washington without sorting through positions that don't support work authorization. You can narrow results to Washington state and sales business development functions to see which employers are actively hiring international candidates, saving time compared to manually reviewing individual company career pages.
Are there state-specific considerations for sales business development visa sponsorship in Washington?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons used in H-1B Labor Condition Applications since take-home pay differs from other major tech states. The Seattle metropolitan area's prevailing wage levels for business development roles are set at competitive rates reflecting the local cost of living. Washington's strong university pipeline, including the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, also produces international graduates who enter the local job market on OPT before seeking employer sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales business development jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
