Which consulting companies sponsor TN visas in Washington?
Global consulting firms with established Washington offices, including Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, and McKinsey, have a track record of hiring TN-eligible professionals from Canada and Mexico. Boutique IT consultancies and management consulting firms serving Seattle's technology sector also sponsor TN visas, particularly for roles tied to specific professional qualifications like engineering, computer science, or accounting.
Which cities in Washington have the most consulting TN sponsorship jobs?
Seattle and Bellevue account for the majority of consulting TN sponsorship activity in Washington, driven by the concentration of major tech companies and global consulting firm offices there. Redmond sees demand tied to Microsoft-adjacent consulting work. Spokane and Tacoma have smaller but active markets, primarily in management consulting and IT services supporting regional government and healthcare clients.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN sponsorship in consulting generally applies to roles that map to a listed TN occupation. Management consultant, engineer, computer systems analyst, accountant, and scientific advisor are among the categories most commonly used. The role must require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field, and the job duties must align with the TN occupational category the employer cites in the support letter.
How do I find consulting TN sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and state, making it straightforward to browse consulting roles in Washington that include TN sponsorship. Rather than sorting through general job boards where sponsorship details are rarely disclosed upfront, Migrate Mate surfaces positions where employers have indicated willingness to support TN candidates, which is particularly useful for Canadian and Mexican nationals targeting the Seattle and Bellevue consulting markets.
Are there any Washington-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in consulting?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons but does not change TN eligibility or the sponsorship process itself. The state's high concentration of technology clients means many consulting TN roles involve IT or systems work, so applicants whose degrees align with computer science or engineering disciplines may find stronger demand here than in markets with a more traditional consulting mix.
