Which companies sponsor visas for partnership development managers in Wisconsin?
Large Wisconsin-headquartered corporations are the most consistent sponsors for partnership development manager roles. Fiserv, Northwestern Mutual, Kohl's, Johnson Controls, and Baird have histories of sponsoring work visas for business development and strategy professionals. Mid-sized software and fintech companies based in Milwaukee and Madison also sponsor, particularly when candidates bring specialized industry relationships or technical account management experience that is difficult to source domestically.
Which visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for partnership development managers in Wisconsin, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline. The L-1B and L-1A are relevant for candidates transferring from a foreign affiliate of a Wisconsin employer. The O-1A applies in rare cases where a candidate has demonstrated extraordinary achievement in business development at a senior level.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee accounts for the largest share of partnership development manager sponsorship activity in Wisconsin, driven by its concentration of financial services, insurance, and enterprise technology firms. Madison is the second most active market, supported by its university ecosystem, health technology sector, and growing SaaS companies. Green Bay and Appleton see occasional openings, primarily through manufacturing and logistics companies with international operations seeking partnership or channel management professionals.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify partnership development manager openings in Wisconsin where employers are actively willing to sponsor. Rather than sorting through general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces roles from companies with verified sponsorship patterns in this function. Filtering by Wisconsin and the partnership development manager category gives you a focused view of live opportunities without the noise of unsponsored listings.
Are there state-specific considerations for partnership development manager visa sponsorship in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the prevailing wage for the role and location as determined by Department of Labor standards, which vary between Milwaukee, Madison, and smaller metro areas. Partnership development manager roles need to qualify as specialty occupations, meaning the position must demonstrably require at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Wisconsin's concentration of financial services and insurance employers means business-to-business partnership roles are well-represented in the state's H-1B filing history.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
