Which companies sponsor visas for partnership development managers in Oregon?
Portland-based tech and enterprise software companies are the most active sponsors for partnership development manager roles in Oregon. Firms like Nike, Precision Castparts, and B2B SaaS companies with established HR infrastructure are more likely to have prior H-1B visa sponsorship experience. Larger employers with dedicated legal and HR teams generally navigate sponsorship more smoothly than early-stage startups.
Which visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most commonly used visa for partnership development managers in Oregon, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Candidates from Canada or Mexico may qualify for TN visa status under the professional categories. Australians may be eligible for the E-3 visa. Each pathway has distinct employer filing requirements, so the specific visa depends on your nationality and the employer's willingness to sponsor.
Which cities in Oregon have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the large majority of partnership development manager sponsorship opportunities in Oregon, driven by its concentration of tech companies, logistics firms, and enterprise software employers. Beaverton and Hillsboro, within the Portland metro, also have notable hiring activity given the presence of Nike and semiconductor companies. Eugene has a smaller market with some activity tied to the University of Oregon's commercialization and research partnerships ecosystem.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles in the U.S., including partnership development manager positions in Oregon. You can filter by role and state to see which Oregon employers have active openings and a history of sponsoring international hires. This is more targeted than a general job search, since Migrate Mate focuses on roles where sponsorship is part of the employer's hiring approach.
Are there state-specific considerations for partnership development managers pursuing sponsorship in Oregon?
Oregon's H-1B prevailing wage requirements are set at the metropolitan statistical area level, so Portland-area roles carry different wage thresholds than positions in smaller markets like Medford or Bend. Partnership development manager roles must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the specific location of employment. Oregon's concentration of B2B tech and channel-focused companies also means many partnership roles are tied to software ecosystems, which tend to have stronger precedent for specialty occupation classification.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
