Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for partnership development managers?
Utah-based technology companies with documented H-1B sponsorship histories include Qualtrics, Pluralsight, Domo, and Adobe's Lehi offices. Larger enterprises in financial services and healthcare IT, such as Instructure and Health Catalyst, have also filed sponsorship petitions for business development roles. Sponsorship decisions are made case by case, and a company's past filings do not guarantee future sponsorship for any specific position.
What visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for partnership development managers in Utah, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline. Candidates already holding L-1B or O-1 visa status through prior multinational employment may also find those pathways applicable depending on their background and employer structure.
Which cities in Utah have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and its surrounding metro, particularly the Silicon Slopes corridor spanning Lehi, Draper, and Provo, account for the large majority of partnership development manager openings in Utah. This region hosts a dense concentration of SaaS companies, fintech firms, and enterprise software businesses that regularly hire for partnerships and business development functions. Ogden and St. George have smaller but emerging tech employer bases.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Utah employers actively open to sponsoring partnership development manager candidates. Because sponsorship is not always stated clearly in standard job postings, using a platform built around sponsorship data saves significant research time. On Migrate Mate, you can search by role and state to surface relevant openings in Utah's tech and enterprise software sector.
Are there state-specific considerations for partnership development managers seeking sponsorship in Utah?
Utah's Silicon Slopes ecosystem draws heavily from Brigham Young University, the University of Utah, and Utah Valley University, creating pipelines that some employers prioritize. Partnership development manager roles must meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard, which means the employer needs to demonstrate the position genuinely requires a degree in a specific field, not just any bachelor's degree. Prevailing wage compliance is determined by the Salt Lake City or Provo metropolitan area wage data filed with the Department of Labor.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
