The TikTok Shop US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. The team is responsible for building the TikTok Ecommerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join us to build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users together. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Responsibilities:
Logistics Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation
- Support market research to identify and evaluate potential logistics and supply chain service providers (warehousing, transportation, packaging) in the U.S. market.
- Assist in building supplier evaluation frameworks, including cost analysis, capability assessment, and risk identification.
- Help prepare RFQ/RFP materials and participate in the bidding and vendor selection process.
Supplier Management & Performance Tracking
- Assist in maintaining the tiered supplier management system, tracking SLA/KPI metrics and flagging performance issues.
- Support quarterly contract review and optimization by collecting and analyzing cost, volume, and service quality data.
- Help maintain vendor accounts, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
Data Analysis & Cost Optimization
- Conduct cost structure analysis on fulfillment services to identify cost-saving opportunities and support negotiation strategies.
- Build and maintain procurement dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making.
- Analyze market trends and benchmark pricing across logistics service providers.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Collaborate with operations, product, and strategy teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Support the development and optimization of procurement processes and programs that enable the operations to scale.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, International Trade, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus. Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to commit to a full-time internship for at least 3 months.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics or operations from prior internships.
- Proven skills in network and connections with brands and/or retailers is a plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment models (e.g., FBA, 3PL).
- Proven experience with supplier negotiation, RFQ processes or cost analysis.
- Understanding of U.S. logistics market landscape and key service providers.

COMPENSATION
- Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75 - $23.75. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
