Which companies in Washington sponsor visas for partnership development managers?
Microsoft and Amazon are the most active sponsors for partnership development manager roles in Washington, given their scale and reliance on global talent. Other consistent sponsors include Salesforce, Google's Kirkland offices, Expedia, and T-Mobile. Many mid-sized SaaS and cloud infrastructure companies headquartered in the Seattle area also file H-1B visa petitions for these roles, particularly when the position requires specialized technology or enterprise sales expertise.
What visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Washington?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnership development managers in Washington, particularly at large tech employers who treat it as a standard hiring pathway. The L-1A is an option for candidates transferring from a foreign affiliate in a managerial capacity. For candidates with exceptional records in business development or strategic partnerships, the O-1A is a viable alternative. Australian citizens may also qualify for the E-3 visa, which avoids the H-1B lottery.
Which cities in Washington have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Seattle accounts for the majority of partnership development manager sponsorship jobs in Washington, with a high concentration in South Lake Union and the broader downtown tech corridor. Redmond is significant due to Microsoft's headquarters and its ecosystem of partner-facing roles. Bellevue has grown considerably as Amazon and other tech firms have expanded there. Kirkland also has a notable presence, largely tied to Google's offices and surrounding tech tenants.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship roles, including partnership development manager positions in Washington. You can filter by state and job function to surface employers actively hiring for these roles. Because sponsorship availability isn't always stated in standard job listings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that tracks employer sponsorship history helps you focus your applications on companies with a documented record of sponsoring this type of position.
Are there any Washington-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for partnership development managers?
Washington's high concentration of enterprise tech employers means prevailing wage requirements for partnership development manager roles tend to reflect a competitive market, which benefits candidates by ensuring sponsored positions meet regional compensation standards. The University of Washington and Washington State University also produce business and technology graduates who enter this career track, creating an established talent pipeline that many local employers are already structured to support through sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
