Which companies sponsor visas for solution managers in Wisconsin?
Fiserv in Milwaukee and Epic Systems in Verona are among the most active sponsors for solution-oriented roles in Wisconsin, given their scale in fintech and health IT respectively. Kohl's technology division and Northwestern Mutual also have established immigration programs. Sponsorship activity tends to concentrate at larger enterprises with dedicated HR and legal infrastructure to manage H-1B filings.
Which visa types are most common for solution manager roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa for solution manager roles in Wisconsin, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business information systems, meeting the specialty occupation threshold. Candidates transferring internally from a multinational employer may qualify for an L-1A or L-1B. Some Canadian and Mexican nationals working in qualifying categories may also consider the TN visa.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most solution manager sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee and Madison account for the majority of solution manager sponsorship activity in Wisconsin. Milwaukee's concentration of financial services and manufacturing technology firms drives demand, while Madison benefits from Epic Systems' significant presence and the University of Wisconsin's talent pipeline. Green Bay has a smaller but growing tech employer base, occasionally producing sponsorship-eligible solution manager openings.
How to find solution manager visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to browse solution manager roles in Wisconsin without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. You can search by state and role type to surface openings at Wisconsin employers who have a documented history of sponsoring work visas, saving significant time compared to manually reviewing individual company career pages.
Are there state-specific factors that affect solution manager visa sponsorship in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin does not have state-level visa programs, so sponsorship follows federal H-1B and employment-based rules. One relevant factor is the Department of Labor's prevailing wage determination for the Milwaukee and Madison metro areas, which sets the minimum wage an employer must offer sponsored solution managers. Employers in Wisconsin's health IT sector, particularly those connected to Epic Systems' ecosystem, tend to have well-established processes for managing these filings.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solution manager jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
