Which companies sponsor visas for solution managers in Texas?
Large enterprise technology and consulting firms account for most solution manager sponsorships in Texas. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, AT&T and Toyota Connected in Dallas-Fort Worth, Accenture and Infosys across major metro offices, and energy sector leaders like ExxonMobil and Schlumberger have all sponsored similar roles. Consulting-heavy employers tend to file the most sponsorship petitions because solution manager positions fit clearly within specialty occupation definitions.
Which visa types are most common for solution manager roles in Texas?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for solution managers in Texas, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or business field, meeting specialty occupation standards. L-1B intracompany transfers are also used when candidates are relocating from an overseas office of the same employer. TN visas apply for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or technical categories.
Which cities in Texas have the most solution manager sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads the state for solution manager sponsorship activity, driven by its dense concentration of technology, telecom, and financial services headquarters. Houston is a secondary hub, particularly within energy technology and IT consulting. Austin's growing enterprise software sector adds meaningful volume, with companies like Oracle and IBM maintaining significant presences there. San Antonio contributes through defense technology and cybersecurity employers.
How to find solution manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for solution manager roles in Texas without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can narrow results by city, industry, or employer type to focus on Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, or Austin markets. Migrate Mate also surfaces which employers have a history of sponsoring international candidates in this role category.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for solution manager sponsorship candidates?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons when evaluating offers relative to other states. The Department of Labor sets prevailing wages for solution manager roles by metropolitan statistical area, so Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin each have distinct wage benchmarks your employer must meet when filing an H-1B Labor Condition Application. Texas's large university system, including UT Austin and Texas A&M, also produces a domestic pipeline that can affect hiring competitiveness for international candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solution manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
