UpLift – Redefining Access to Mental Healthcare
At UpLift, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health — and we're rethinking the mental healthcare model. UpLift is a multi-sided marketplace, applying technology to empower patients to find Therapists and Psychiatric providers covered by their insurance plan.
While 1 in 5 Americans struggle with mental health issues, only 40% of this group received care in the last year. At the same time, only 30% of therapists accept insurance. UpLift acts as the bridge between patient, provider, and insurer — empowering patients to find the best care for their needs at a price they can afford.
Why Join UpLift

These estimates are calculated using assumptions regarding number of completed visits per hour, CPT code mix, and utilization of add-on codes (such as 90833) when clinically appropriate and properly documented. Actual earnings vary and are dependent on individual clinical decisions, case mix, scheduling availability, payer reimbursement, licensure, and geographic market factors.

Which companies sponsor visas for OTs in Wyoming?
Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Banner Health, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, and various critical access hospitals across the state have sponsored occupational therapists for work visas. Long-term care facilities and rehabilitation centers in rural counties also sponsor OTs due to persistent workforce shortages. Sponsoring employers in Wyoming tend to be larger healthcare systems or facilities receiving federal recruitment support.
Which visa types are most common for OT roles in Wyoming?
The H-1B visa is the most common route for internationally trained occupational therapists in Wyoming, as OT qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a master's degree under current AOTA standards. The EB-3 immigrant visa is also used by Wyoming employers willing to sponsor permanent residency through PERM labor certification, particularly in underserved rural areas with documented shortages.
Which cities in Wyoming have the most OT sponsorship jobs?
Casper and Cheyenne account for the largest share of OT sponsorship opportunities in Wyoming, housing the state's primary medical centers and rehabilitation facilities. Gillette and Laramie also see consistent demand. Rural communities throughout the state, including Rock Springs and Riverton, often have critical access hospitals and home health agencies actively recruiting OTs with visa sponsorship support.
How to find ot visa sponsorship jobs in Wyoming?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find OT visa sponsorship jobs in Wyoming, as it filters positions specifically by sponsorship willingness, saving you from applying to employers who won't support an H-1B or EB-3. You can browse Wyoming-specific OT listings, see which healthcare systems are actively hiring, and identify roles aligned with your therapy specialization and licensure stage.
Are there state-specific considerations for OTs seeking sponsorship in Wyoming?
Wyoming requires OT licensure through the Wyoming State Board of Occupational Therapy, and international applicants must have their credentials evaluated before a license is granted. The state's rural designation means many counties qualify for federal health professional shortage area status, which can strengthen an employer's case for sponsorship. Wyoming has no state income tax, which is worth factoring into compensation comparisons.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored ot jobs in Wyoming?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
