ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop a team of 90+ billing professionals, including supervisors and team leads
- Oversee the full DME billing cycle: claims submission, payment posting, and AR follow-up
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics (AR days, denial rates, collections)
- Identify issues and implement solutions to reduce denials and increase reimbursement
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate documentation and clean claims
- Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Report on performance and provide insights to senior leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of medical billing experience, with leadership responsibility
- Degree related experience
- Strong DME billing experience (required)
- Proven success managing large teams (50+ employees)
- Deep knowledge of revenue cycle management and payer requirements
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to lead in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CPC or CPB certification
- Experience in high-volume or multi-state billing environments
- Demonstrated success reducing denials and improving collections
COMPENSATION
$90,000 – $110,000 annually
