Piper Companies is currently seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to support installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment working for a reputable Healthcare Institution in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment (anesthesia machines and ventilators, etc)
- Coordinate with other departments and vendors for troubleshooting and installations
- Ensure and verify that medical equipment is operating according to manufacturer’s standards
- Maintain proper work document
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology or related field
- IT certification, such as networking or A++ required
COMPENSATION
- $30.00 - $45.00/hour
