ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions Available: Part Time: (1) 12-hour shift per week 7P-730A; every third weekend and holiday rotation
- Assists surgical team during operative procedures.
- Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team.
- Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms.
- The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Will also assume duties on the unit to include but not limited to phlebotomy, vs, assisting with newborn care, and general patient care assistant duties.

Located in Phoenixville, PA, and a member of Tower Health, Phoenixville Hospital is a 144-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through emergency room visits, inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures and community outreach programs.
The Women’s Health Pavilion provides comprehensive, family-centered care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The unit features five labor and delivery rooms, one triage room, 14 private mother/baby rooms, a nursery, and a four-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Our dedicated multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and safe care while ensuring that patients and families feel supported, respected, and heard. The unit provides 24/7 in-house coverage by obstetricians, neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), supporting timely assessment, intervention, and emergency response for both mothers and newborns.
