BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 protocols and concepts (RSTP, VLANs, trunk/access ports, Layer 2 forwarding, MAC address tables) on the Catalyst 9300 platform
- Strong understanding of BGP routing protocols (iBGP and eBGP)
- Demonstrated design experience developing solutions to solve problems and deliver new network features
- Solid fundamental understanding of Layer 3 networks and routing principles
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst routing and switching platforms
- Proficiency with Palo Alto Strata firewalls and Panorama management
- Experience designing and implementing microsegmentation technologies (PVLANs, Trustsec/SGTs, or similar)
- Required experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure-as-code and network automation
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela and/or Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN)
- Cloud networking experience across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
- Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Splunk)
