Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll for 100+ domestic employees.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including regular and special compensation, and other incentives.
- Oversee the collection and verification of timecards, ensuing accurate recording of hours worked and adherence to company policies.
- Manage the processing of final pay and payouts for employees leaving the organization.
- Handle various payroll-related deductions.
- Prepare payroll and benefit related journal entries.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Payroll Operations & Accuracy. Ensure timely, accurate processing of regular, special, and termination payroll for 100+ employees.
- Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge. Maintain compliance with labor laws, DOL rules, and payroll tax regulations.
- Timecard & Deduction Management. Oversee collection/verification of timecards and accurate handling of employee deductions.
- Systems & Oversight. Use ADP effectively and lead payroll functions for the team, including preparing payroll-related journal entries.
Experience
- Expertise in various payroll functions, including knowledge of labor laws, DOL regulations, payroll tax regulations, termination payouts, payroll processing, and timecard management.
- Experience processing payroll in ADP.
- 4-6 years of payroll processing experience with 1-2 years of payroll function oversight for an organization of 50+ employees.
- Experience managing employee deductions.
