- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across system design, API integrations, and data infrastructure
- Review and validate technical approaches and documentation, ensuring alignment with product requirements and long-term scalability

- Define and own product operations metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure delivery performance and product outcomes
- Use data to identify trends, diagnose systemic issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams
- Establish and scale operational playbooks, governance models, and escalation frameworks
- Ensure alignment between delivery execution and customer experience, product performance, and business impact

- Champion and evolve agile best practices across a multi-team product organization, driving consistency, maturity, and continuous improvement
- Coach teams on effective planning, backlog management, and execution strategies to improve throughput and delivery quality
- Lead initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve predictability, and minimize defects across teams
Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in product operations, technical program management, or related roles within a technology-driven product organization
- Proven track record of owning and scaling product operations processes across multiple teams or product areas
- Deep experience in e-commerce and ad tech environments

Find Product Operations Manager JobsFrequently Asked Questions
What degree do I need for Product Operations Manager H-1B sponsorship?
A bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, computer science, or related analytical field typically qualifies. The key is demonstrating how your education connects to the specialized analytical and coordination skills required for product operations work.
Do Product Operations Manager roles commonly get H-1B approval?
Yes, when properly documented as specialty occupations requiring analytical skills, process optimization expertise, and cross-functional coordination abilities. USCIS typically approves these roles when the job description emphasizes technical analysis and specialized business processes rather than general management tasks.
How to find Product Operations Manager jobs with visa sponsorship?
To find Product Operations Manager jobs with visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate, which specializes in connecting international candidates with sponsored opportunities. Focus on tech companies, SaaS startups, and multinational corporations that frequently sponsor H-1B, O-1, and other work visas for product management roles. These companies value operations expertise for scaling their product teams and processes.
Can I get sponsored without prior product operations experience?
Many employers sponsor candidates with adjacent experience in business analysis, project management, or operations roles. Emphasize transferable skills in data analysis, process improvement, and cross-team coordination to demonstrate your qualifications for the specialized nature of product operations work.
Which visa types work best for Product Operations Manager roles?
H-1B is most common, but E-3 works for Australians, TN for Canadians with relevant degrees, and O-1 for those with exceptional achievements in business operations. The role's analytical requirements and degree dependency make it suitable for specialty occupation visas.
What if my job title is different but duties are similar?
Focus on the actual job responsibilities rather than the title. Roles like Business Operations Analyst, Product Strategy Coordinator, or Operations Program Manager with similar analytical and coordination duties can qualify for sponsorship when the job description emphasizes specialized skills and degree requirements.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored Product Operations Manager jobs?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
