About GDX
Gartner Digital Experience (GDX) is a fast‑growing product organization that builds and manages the digital platforms through which clients access Gartner’s value. Our mission is to create innovative products that use technology to address the needs of specific roles and market segments. GDX delivers personalized experiences across Gartner’s client‑facing digital platforms, tools, AI products, and emails, helping clients quickly find and use insights. The team brings together product management, design, engineering, and data science to ensure every digital interaction is simple, consistent, and high‑value.
About The Role
As a Product Operations Manager, you will own and continuously improve the product operating system for GDX. Your role will be instrumental in managing the launch readiness and structured execution of key programs, managing content operations, and driving alignment across business functions (Engineering, Sales, Service, BTI, Product Marketing, etc). You will partner closely with Product Leadership to scale consistent ways of planning, measuring, and launching products, while removing friction for Product Managers so they can focus on customer outcomes. This role is not about project tracking. It is about product leverage.
Key Responsibilities
Product operating model:
- Partner with Product leaders to identify inefficiencies, propose and implement process improvements, and normalize best practices across teams.
- Ensure consistency in how products move from ideas to discovery, delivery, launch, and learning.
- Identify friction in the Product Manager workflow and remove it using process, tooling, or automation.
- Create paths of least resistance that naturally guide teams toward best practices.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Research teams to surface insights that influence roadmap and prioritization decisions.
Cross-organizational programs:
- Run multiple Product Ops programs simultaneously: launch readiness, quarterly roadmap readouts, and special projects as assigned by leadership.
- Facilitate product launch readiness including product messaging, stakeholder alignment, and risk management.
- Create repeatable launch playbooks so every product ships with a consistent quality bar.
- Measure post‑launch adoption and outcomes and close the learning loop with teams.
- Develop compelling presentations to communicate progress, insights/trends, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Content operations at scale:
- Own and improve content operations to support product discovery, adoption, and engagement across digital platforms.
- Act as point person for US based urgent initiatives like First Takes; publish content using the CMS.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Content teams to standardize workflows for content creation, updates, and quality control.
- Manage content tooling and CMS processes to ensure content is accurate and aligned with product intent.
- Use product and content performance data to identify gaps, improve UX, and inform future content and product decisions.
- Create repeatable frameworks so content changes scale efficiently and do not rely on manual coordination.
What you need:
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Strategy, or Platform Operations.
- Strong understanding of digital product development, discovery, and delivery practices.
- Strong analytical (quant and qual) skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in establishing processes to support product development.
- Proven ability to influence without authority across cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading and overseeing multiple critical projects simultaneously, focusing on actionable solutions and driving initiatives forward.
- A pragmatic mindset to problem-solving with a ‘can do’ mentality to address underlying challenges effectively.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and turning complex problems into simple, repeatable systems.
- A bias for action, including balancing trade-offs, a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do what it takes to get things done.
- Strong written and presentation communication skills.
What you will get:
- Competitive salary, generous paid time off policy, charity match program, Medical, Dental & Vision Plans, Parental Leave, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), 401K matching and more!
- Collaborative, team-oriented culture that embraces diversity
- Professional development and unlimited growth opportunities

What degree do I need for Product Operations Manager H-1B sponsorship?
A bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, computer science, or related analytical field typically qualifies. The key is demonstrating how your education connects to the specialized analytical and coordination skills required for product operations work.
Do Product Operations Manager roles commonly get H-1B approval?
Yes, when properly documented as specialty occupations requiring analytical skills, process optimization expertise, and cross-functional coordination abilities. USCIS typically approves these roles when the job description emphasizes technical analysis and specialized business processes rather than general management tasks.
Can I get sponsored without prior product operations experience?
Many employers sponsor candidates with adjacent experience in business analysis, project management, or operations roles. Emphasize transferable skills in data analysis, process improvement, and cross-team coordination to demonstrate your qualifications for the specialized nature of product operations work.
Which visa types work best for Product Operations Manager roles?
H-1B is most common, but E-3 works for Australians, TN for Canadians with relevant degrees, and O-1 for those with exceptional achievements in business operations. The role's analytical requirements and degree dependency make it suitable for specialty occupation visas.
What if my job title is different but duties are similar?
Focus on the actual job responsibilities rather than the title. Roles like Business Operations Analyst, Product Strategy Coordinator, or Operations Program Manager with similar analytical and coordination duties can qualify for sponsorship when the job description emphasizes specialized skills and degree requirements.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored Product Operations Manager jobs?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
