The Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a board certified / board eligible faculty physician (open rank) for our expanding Lung Transplant Program. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital.

Position Highlights:

• Opportunity to build a strong academic career within a collaborative, multidisciplinary transplant team
• Active involvement in the evaluation of patients being considered for lung transplantation, as well as the ongoing care of patients who have already undergone transplant
• Both inpatient & outpatient activities. Inpatient care will focus on managing transplant candidates & post-transplant patients during hospitalization, working closely with surgery, critical care, infectious disease, & other specialty teams. Outpatient care will include pre-transplant assessments, longitudinal post-transplant follow-up, & participation in multidisciplinary transplant clinics.

• Leadership: Dr. Julie Biller attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She stayed in Chicago, at the University of Chicago, for her Internal Medicine Residency as well as her Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship. As a lifelong Packer fan, she returned to Milwaukee in 1990, and joined the MCW faculty practicing at Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Biller provides care for adults with a wide variety of pulmonary conditions. Along with this, she established the Adult Cystic Fibrosis program, providing care for these individuals, participating in clinical research, and educating medical providers & the public about cystic fibrosis.
