Yes, when the position requires specialized technical knowledge in areas like enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, or digital transformation. The role must demonstrate complexity beyond general business consulting, typically requiring a computer science, information systems, or related technical degree to meet specialty occupation standards.
What degree do I need for H-1B approval as a Technology Business Partner?
Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration with IT concentration, or Engineering degrees typically work best. The degree field should align with the technical aspects of your role. Some positions may accept business degrees if combined with significant technical certifications and experience.
Which companies sponsor H-1B visas for Technology Business Partners?
Technology consulting firms like Deloitte, Accenture, and IBM regularly sponsor this role.
