Workday Analyst Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a workday analyst in Georgia?
Becoming a workday analyst in Georgia typically starts with a bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or human resources, followed by hands-on Workday platform experience gained through an implementation project or an employer's internal system. Georgia has no state-issued license for this role. The credential that moves candidates forward most consistently is Workday Pro certification, available through Workday's official training program, which Georgia employers in healthcare, finance, and technology treat as a practical requirement.
Which companies hire workday analysts in Georgia?
Employers hiring workday analysts in Georgia right now include Veritiv, Carter's, and Primerica, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of large healthcare systems, financial institutions, and corporate headquarters in the Atlanta metro makes it one of the more consistent markets in the Southeast for Workday-specific roles.
Which Georgia cities have the most workday analyst jobs?
Atlanta, Duluth, and Alpharetta have the most workday analyst openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it houses the corporate headquarters and regional offices of major healthcare, technology, and financial services employers that run enterprise Workday tenants, while Alpharetta's dense technology corridor and Savannah's growing logistics and port-adjacent industries contribute additional demand.
Are there remote workday analyst jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. Workday analyst work is largely configuration, reporting, and stakeholder communication done through the platform itself, which makes it well-suited to remote arrangements. About 100% of workday analyst openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly Georgia employers have embraced flexible arrangements for system-side roles. Module-specific work like HCM and Financials configuration tends to be the most remote-eligible.
How can I get hired as a workday analyst in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from an adjacent role such as HR coordinator, payroll specialist, or financial analyst at a Georgia employer that already runs Workday, then volunteering for system projects or upgrade cycles to build documented configuration experience. Large Georgia healthcare systems like Piedmont Healthcare and Emory Healthcare, as well as Atlanta-based corporations, periodically hire junior HRIS or ERP support analysts who learn Workday on the job. Completing Workday's community training and earning a Workday Pro credential in a single module before applying gives early-career candidates a concrete edge.
Where can I find and apply to workday analyst jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to workday analyst jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Alpharetta, Savannah, and remote positions tied to the state. Find roles that fit your experience level and module focus, then apply directly to each employer through the listing.
