Asset Management Analyst Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a asset management analyst in Georgia?
Most Georgia employers require a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a closely related field as the foundation. From there, candidates pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst credential through the CFA Institute, which Georgia-based firms widely treat as the professional standard. No state-issued license is required specifically for asset management analysis in Georgia, though roles touching securities sales may additionally require FINRA registration through a sponsoring employer.
How much do asset management analysts make in Georgia?
Asset management analysts in Georgia earn a median of about $99,420 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $66,140 for the lowest 10% to over $167,700 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire asset management analysts in Georgia?
Employers hiring asset management analysts in Georgia right now include DMI, Newmark, and Intercontinental Exchange, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of insurance holding companies, real estate investment trusts, and regional bank headquarters in Atlanta and Alpharetta means a broad mix of institutional and corporate asset management roles is consistently available.
Which Georgia cities have the most asset management analyst jobs?
Atlanta and Newnan have the most asset management analyst openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it houses the Southeast headquarters of major investment managers, banks, and REITs, while Alpharetta's dense fintech and financial services corridor generates a steady stream of portfolio and operations analyst roles, and Savannah's growing port-linked commercial real estate market supports a smaller but active cluster of infrastructure and property asset management positions.
Are there remote asset management analyst jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 50% of asset management analyst openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how desk-based and data-driven the role is by nature. Quantitative modeling, reporting, and research functions are the most consistently offered remotely, while client-facing portfolio management and relationship-intensive roles more commonly require on-site or hybrid arrangements.
How can I get hired as a asset management analyst in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a rotational analyst program at one of Atlanta's large financial institutions, where firms like Truist, Invesco, and State Farm run structured new-graduate programs that cycle through portfolio operations, risk, and reporting. Candidates with strong Excel modeling skills and progress toward the CFA exam stand out. Adjacent roles such as fund accountant, investment operations associate, or financial reporting analyst at Georgia-based asset managers are common stepping stones that build the analytical foundation employers look for.
Where can I find and apply to asset management analyst jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to asset management analyst jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Alpharetta, Savannah, and other markets in the state. Find the roles that fit your experience and specialization and apply directly.
