Position Summary
The Director of Account Management at First Choice Health is responsible for leading our client retention and growth strategies within the healthcare arena. This role requires developing and supporting efficient work processes that allow our Account Executives and Account Managers to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Equally important, this position will elevate our strategic partnerships, provide clear direction, and actively remove barriers to success for the team. The ideal candidate brings deep client strategy experience and can effectively communicate First Choice Health’s solutions and value proposition. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with consultants, brokers, clients, and third-party administrators (TPAs) across all service areas, while consistently meeting or exceeding the annual retention and revenue budgetary goals set by the CSMO.
Salary Range
Annual Salary: $154,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Visionary Leadership: Demonstrate visionary leadership by aligning account management initiatives with First Choice Health’s corporate objectives to improve current and future client success programs.
Team Building: Build, mentor, and maintain a best-in-class strategic Account Executive and Account Manager team.
Strategic Broker & Consultant Partnerships: Partner closely with consultants and brokers to ensure they are fully aware of the competitive advantages of utilizing First Choice Health.
Communication Oversight: Oversee all external communications from the account management team to ensure consistent, highly professional messaging across the board.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients, brokers, consultants, and TPAs across all lines of business.
Performance Tracking: Monitor team performance and client health metrics to proactively remove barriers to success and ensure high client satisfaction.
Revenue & Retention Accountability: Own the annual retention and revenue budgetary goals set by the CSMO, implementing strategies to meet and exceed these targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working specifically within the self-funded healthcare insurance industry.
Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of managerial or equivalent experience in a senior-level position within the healthcare industry.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to understand, interpret, and leverage both quantitative (data-driven) and qualitative (relationship-driven) analytics to drive strategy and decision-making.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex healthcare solutions and value propositions clearly to sophisticated audiences, including C-suite executives and top-tier brokers.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent validated career experience).
Licensing: Active State Health Insurance License (or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire).
Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with CRM software (like Salesforce) and healthcare data analytics platforms.
