The strongest path into account management in Minneapolis runs through its financial services firms, health tech companies, and SaaS employers clustered downtown and along the 494 Corridor. Candidates who demonstrate experience managing a book of business, hitting renewal targets, or growing existing accounts stand out locally. A background in industries that dominate here, such as medical devices, insurance, or enterprise software, gives you a clear edge over generalist applicants.

Are there remote account manager jobs in Minneapolis?

About 50% of account manager openings tied to Minneapolis are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the city's strong SaaS and insurance employer base. Hybrid schedules anchored to downtown or North Loop offices are the most common arrangement locally.
How can I get a account manager job in Minneapolis with little or no experience?
