Become a Key Player as an Accountant Analyst
You will support the division's financial integrity and operating performance by delivering accurate accounting, timely reporting, and actionable financial analysis to finance, operations, HR, and other stakeholders. This role drives month-end close activities, variance analysis, and data-quality improvements that enable better business decisions.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close: prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate aged or unreconciled items
- Prepare internal financial statements, management reports, and division reporting packages
- Analyze results versus budget/forecast/prior year and provide clear variance explanations
- Support cost accounting, fixed-asset accounting, payroll-related accounting, and revenue recognition
- Assist with audit requests and maintain supporting documentation for transactions
- Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and development of financial models and dashboards
- Extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from ERP, payroll, and reporting systems; identify and remediate data-quality issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting quality
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, FP&A, cost accounting, or comparable finance roles
- Working knowledge of general accounting principles, financial close processes, and account reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and experience with ERP/reporting tools
- Ability to analyze financial results, investigate variances, and prepare management-level reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
