POSITION OVERVIEW
Pegasus Tech Ventures is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing accounting processes in a fast-paced, international business environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day fund and corporate accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes in timely manner.
- Oversee multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidated reporting.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
- Manage to complete fund and corporate financials in timely manner.
- Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and relationships with accounting and tax advisors.
- Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
- Improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
- Manage and support finance and accounting team members.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-entity accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, a must. Netsuite and Investran, a plus).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Fluency in Japanese (written and spoken) is required, as this role involves frequent communication, collaboration, and coordination with our Japan-based corporate team.
