Position Summary:
The Department of Music at Wingate University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Voice beginning Fall 2026. This is a part-time position to teach applied voice lessons to music majors, minors, and non-majors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Teach individual voice lessons across various skill levels and musical backgrounds
- Provide constructive feedback to support student development in vocal technique, repertoire, and performance
- Prepare students for juries, recitals, and other departmental performance requirements
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Voice Performance, Vocal Pedagogy, or a closely related field is required
- Demonstrated success in vocal instruction at the collegiate or pre-collegiate level
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, including music majors, minors, and non-majors
- Familiarity with a wide range of vocal repertoire and pedagogical approaches
