INTRODUCTION
Department of Educator Preparation invites applicants for the position of Adjunct Instructor. Teaching/Supervision responsibilities include face-to-face instruction for most courses. Residency courses require online instruction at scheduled times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Minimum Requirements: Earned Master’s Degree in Education or a related field
Experience and Training
- Preference will be given to candidates with practitioner and higher education teaching experience
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
- Leadership skills and practitioner-based education experiences
- Effective pedagogical practices
- Current educational standards and expectations in the course content
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Face-to-face instruction per scheduled course requirements or scheduled online instruction for residency courses
- Teaching towards student mastery of course objectives
- Maintaining high expectations for all students
