Minimum of five (5) years of recent industry experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, manufacturing, construction, petrochemical, energy, healthcare, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
- Quality Assurance (TQM/Statistical Process Control)
- Relevant industry certifications are strongly preferred, including one or more of the following:
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Experience in CWI, API 510/570, Ultrasonics, Radiographic Film Interpretation, Magnetic Particle/Liquid Penetrant,
- Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles and practices.
- Knowledge of inspection methods, statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to adult learners with diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate and demonstrate quality inspection and measurement equipment.
- Experience implementing or maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience performing inspections, testing, auditing, quality documentation, or continuous improvement activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the college’s learning management system, as required.
- Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or workforce development experience is preferred.
- Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and hands-on instruction in Quality Assurance and Quality Control topics.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, demonstrations, and practical exercises in accordance with the approved course curriculum.
- Teach quality principles, inspection methods, measurement techniques, quality documentation, auditing concepts, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrate the proper use of precision measurement tools, testing equipment, and inspection instruments.
- Evaluate participant performance through written assessments, skills demonstrations, and practical exercises.
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and course completion records.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with all college policies and applicable health and safety regulations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and instructional materials in good working order.
- Incorporate current industry standards, technologies, and best practices into instruction.
- Participate in instructor orientations, required meetings, and professional development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
