Entry Level Anesthetist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level anesthetist job?
Entry level anesthetist positions typically look for candidates who have completed accredited nurse anesthesia or anesthesiologist assistant programs, passed required board certifications, and logged clinical hours during training. Highlighting specific case experience, procedure types, and any supervised independent practice from rotations gives early-career candidates a clear edge when competing for first roles.
Which companies hire entry level anesthetists?
Companies hiring entry level anesthetists right now include Prisma Health, Novant Health, and Penn State Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and anesthesia staffing groups tend to post the most openings at the entry level, as they actively recruit new graduates to fill growing clinical demand.
Are there remote entry level anesthetist jobs?
Yes, though remote work is limited in this hands-on clinical field. About 0% of entry level anesthetist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those roles tend to involve tele-anesthesia consultation, administrative coordination, or training support rather than direct patient care.
Are these new grad anesthetist jobs?
Yes, this page includes new grad, recent graduate, and junior anesthetist roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience, accepts clinical rotations or supervised internship hours in place of independent practice, or explicitly invites applications from candidates who have recently passed their board certification.
Which industries hire the most entry level anesthetists?
Entry Level anesthetist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at the entry level because high patient volumes, surgical caseloads, and ongoing staffing shortages create consistent demand for newly certified anesthesia providers.
