Job Overview

Consulting professionals are highly valued at CS3. This position offers the opportunity to work with clients across multiple industries, helping them improve business operations through ERP technology. You will collaborate with experienced consultants, project managers, sales professionals, and leadership while developing expertise in ERP implementation, business process improvement, and client advisory services.

Essential Functions

As a consultant, you will be responsible for the support of clients in the following ways:

• Schedule and conduct effective meetings with key decision makers and project groups.
• Prepare project deliverables based on the project scope.
• Present project deliverables to the project team.
• Analyze, understand, and document standard business processes and client-specific requirements.
• Assess and document clients' and prospective clients' current business processes, systems, and operational requirements.
• Build ongoing relationships with key decision makers to expand future opportunities within their organization.
• Conduct formal and informal training sessions.
• Manage assigned projects and workstreams to support adherence to approved scope, schedule, budget, and project objectives.
• Assist with internal improvement projects.
• Maintain current professional, product, industry, and technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
• Provide training, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to internal team members.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Configure ERP functionality based on approved requirements and project scope.
• Support data conversion, system testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and identify appropriate resolutions or escalation paths.
• Develop client-facing documentation, process guides, and training materials.
• Provide post-implementation support and assist clients with system optimization.
• Communicate project risks, decisions, dependencies, and scope changes to appropriate stakeholders.
• Assist with pre-sales discovery, solution demonstrations, and presentations to clients and prospective clients.

Requirements

A consultant should have the following qualifications:

• ERP or business software implementation experience required; Acumatica experience preferred
• Three to five years of core accounting experience, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL concepts, including joins and related tables. Experience developing reports using SQL-based data sources, MySQL, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting tools is preferred.
• Ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of CS3 software solutions and services.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, networking concepts, connectivity, and basic technical troubleshooting.
• Travel required based on client and project needs.
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer. No visa sponsorships are available.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective software solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client priorities and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
• Experience in Accounting for Distribution and/or Manufacturing (preferred)
• C++ and/or C# programming experience (preferred)
• Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• Experience conducting pre-sales demonstrations and presenting solutions (preferred)

Measures of Success

Success is measured through client satisfaction, project profitability, billable utilization, project delivery performance, quality of documentation, professional development, and contribution to organizational goals.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a remote professional environment and routinely uses computers, video-conferencing platforms, telephones, cloud-based business applications, and other standard office technology. The employee must maintain a workspace and internet connection appropriate for professional client meetings and secure business operations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time remote position. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Occasional extended hours, weekend work, or schedule adjustments may be required to support client deadlines, system go-lives, travel, or other business needs.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
