We’re a generous department who help each other, learn from each other, and respect each other. We know we’re at our best when everyone here is supportive of one another. About the work and our people, we care more.
Job Summary
Droga5 is looking for a Senior Social Creative with a Design focus who leads with ideas and executes with craft. You are not a production artist or a template filler — you are a creative thinker who happens to express ideas through image, motion, and visual systems. You make things that look distinct, feel native, and stop the scroll.
You'll concept, design, and produce social-first assets across campaigns and always-on programs for some of the world's most recognizable brands — working shoulder-to-shoulder with copy creatives, strategists, producers, and influencer teams who move at the speed of culture.
Here is what you'll do:
Ideation & Concepting
Generate visual ideas for social content that are original, platform-native, and culturally tuned — from big campaign moments to reactive day-to-day content
Develop concepts across formats: Reels, TikToks, carousels, stories, motion graphics, memes, templates, and emerging formats
Bring creative ambition to every brief — push past the expected and advocate for work that earns attention
Collaborate with copy creatives and strategists to develop concepts that are as strong in words as they are in visuals
Design & Making
Design and produce high-quality social assets across still, animated, and video formats — from concept through final delivery
Create motion graphics, typography-driven content, and short-form video edits that feel native to each platform
Be hands-on in production: shoot, capture, animate, and edit with speed and quality across lo-fi and higher-production contexts
Develop and maintain visual systems, templates, and design guidelines that enable consistency and scale across a brand's social presence
Design for the real conditions of social — small screens, silent autoplay, fast-scrolling audiences — not for a presentation deck
Brand & Platform Fluency
Maintain a deep understanding of each client's visual identity, adapting and evolving it for social contexts without losing brand integrity
Stay current on design trends, platform aesthetics, creator visual languages, and emerging formats that shape what success looks like on each channel
Contribute visual thinking to pitches, presentations, and internal thought leadership that elevates Droga5's social creative reputation
WHAT YOU BRING
5+ years of experience in a rt direction role, at an agency or brand with a serious social practice
A portfolio that demonstrates both conceptual strength and executional craft — ideas that are as compelling as the work they became
Preferred Qualifications:
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma
Deep fluency in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and the visual languages that define each platform
Experience in motion design, short-form video editing, and animation — you make things move with intention
Ability to shift between lo-fi and high-production aesthetics depending on what the moment demands
Strong instincts around typography, layout, color, and composition applied specifically to social formats
Experience with generative AI tools for image and video production is a plus
A collaborative, ego-light approach — you're as energized by building on someone else's idea as you are by leading your own
