Position Summary:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support our construction team in delivering high-quality homes on schedule—while gaining invaluable experience from industry leaders. Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll assist Project Managers in the day-to-day execution of multiple job sites and help ensure a consistent, positive experience for our homeowners. This role includes field work, service coordination, and the opportunity to learn the full lifecycle of residential building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily construction tasks to ensure homes are completed on time and to company standards
• Support Project Managers with quality checks, inspections, site documentation, and trade coordination
• Help manage post-closing service tickets and warranty items, working with trades to resolve homeowner concerns
• Monitor jobsite cleanliness, safety, and material deliveries
• Drive between communities throughout the Kansas City metro to support multiple job sites
• Capture and report jobsite progress using checklists, photos, and internal tools
• Communicate professionally with trade partners, internal teams, and homeowners
• Proactively learn construction processes and best practices to prepare for future advancement

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in residential construction and a desire to grow within the industry
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required for daily jobsite travel)
• Physically able to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic
• Previous construction experience or education is helpful, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
