Entry Level Benefits Sales Executive Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level benefits sales executive job?
Focus on any experience that shows you can build relationships and explain complex information clearly, whether from internships, campus sales roles, or customer-facing work. Employers at this level look for strong communication skills, a basic understanding of employee benefits products, and a willingness to learn. Earning an entry level insurance or benefits certification before applying can also give you a real edge over other junior candidates.
Which companies hire entry level benefits sales executives?
Companies hiring entry level benefits sales executives right now include HUB International, USI Insurance Services, and Marsh McLennan Agency, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from insurance carriers, benefits brokerages, and third-party benefits administration firms that build their sales teams from the ground up.
Are there remote entry level benefits sales executive jobs?
Yes, though on-site and field-based roles are still common at the entry level. About 26% of entry level benefits sales executive openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so options exist for candidates who need flexibility. Remote roles at this stage often focus on inbound sales or employer group accounts where relationship management happens primarily by phone and video.
Are these new grad benefits sales executive jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates with little or no professional experience. A posting is new-grad friendly when it requires zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or campus work in place of full-time history, or calls out an open-minded stance on candidates with a strong portfolio or transferable skills rather than a traditional sales background.
Which industries hire the most entry level benefits sales executives?
Entry Level benefits sales executive roles concentrate in Insurance, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they rely on dedicated sales staff to help employers navigate benefits enrollment, compliance, and plan selection throughout the year.
