We are a fast growing Tax Firm seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our firm as a Junior Partner. The Junior Partner would invest into the firm and take on a book of business to manage. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership, oversee complex accounting projects, and contribute to the strategic growth of our client portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and technical accounting to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions. Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation with active licensure.
- Proven experience in public accounting or corporate finance roles with strong knowledge of GAAP and financial concepts.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance accounting including SOX controls and governmental accounting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and spreadsheets for data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed account reconciliation, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial report writing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial statement interpretation, cash flow analysis, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring team members and fostering professional development.
