This close-knit organization is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join their team. In this role, you will support the accounting function by assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities and helping ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial information.
Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
- Assisting with cash disbursements and related recordkeeping
- Providing inventory accounting support
- Serving as backup support for payroll processing
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with routine accounting and administrative tasks as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a 'roll up your sleeves' self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency with accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
COMPENSATION
- The compensation for this position ranges from $45,000-$60,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, licensure, and certifications.
- Pay: $21.63 - $28.84 per hour
