Accounting Manager
As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the monthly close process, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable while driving operational efficiencies and strengthening internal controls. You'll work closely with leadership to build scalable accounting processes that support a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions
- Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support accounting operations
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure audit readiness
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining day-to-day accounting operations
- Partner with leadership to support strategic initiatives and business growth
- Mentor and develop accounting team members
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Active CPA license in good standing
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience leading the monthly close process
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience managing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Experience improving accounting systems and business processes
