About the Role
Venture Home is seeking an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to lead our retail lead generation program in the Maine and New Hampshire market.
This position is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of Retail Energy Consultants who engage homeowners at retail locations and schedule qualified appointments for our outside sales team. The Retail Marketing Manager is accountable for team performance, employee development, staffing, and ensuring retail locations consistently generate high-quality sales opportunities.
The ideal candidate has experience leading performance-driven teams, enjoys developing employees, and is motivated by achieving measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain Retail Energy Consultants.
- Train and coach employees on customer engagement, qualification, and appointment-setting best practices.
- Manage day-to-day operations across multiple retail locations.
- Establish performance expectations and hold team members accountable to individual and team goals.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results.
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail store management.
- Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Partner with regional leadership on recruiting, staffing, and operational initiatives.
- Travel between retail locations as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing teams in retail, sales, field marketing, customer acquisition, or lead generation.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and motivate employees.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing performance metrics and achieving team goals.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
