Business Development Representative Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a business development representative job in Atlanta?
Focus your search on Atlanta's SaaS and fintech corridors in Midtown and Buckhead, where most BDR hiring is concentrated. Companies in cybersecurity, healthcare technology, and enterprise software consistently recruit in Atlanta. Tailoring your outreach to these sectors, building familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, and networking through Atlanta Tech Village events gives candidates a measurable edge in the local market.
Which companies hire business development representatives in Atlanta?
Companies currently hiring business development representatives in Atlanta include CRUNCHTIME, Momentive Software, and Crunchtime Information Systems, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Atlanta's mix of established technology firms, fast-growing fintech startups, and large healthcare organizations means BDR openings appear across a wide range of employer sizes and sales cycles.
Are there remote business development representative jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though remote availability varies: BDR roles that rely on cold calling and digital outreach are more commonly remote-eligible than those tied to in-person client meetings. About 63% of business development representative openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with SaaS and technology employers leading that flexibility. Field-based and enterprise BDR roles in Atlanta tend to require more in-office or on-site presence.
How can I get a business development representative job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is applying to sales development representative or inside sales coordinator roles at mid-size SaaS companies in the Midtown and Buckhead technology corridors, which regularly hire candidates without prior sales experience. Atlanta startups in the Atlanta Tech Village ecosystem and healthcare IT firms often value persistence and communication skills over a sales resume. Completing a short sales bootcamp or SDR certification and demonstrating familiarity with Salesforce or HubSpot meaningfully strengthens an entry-level application locally.
