Sales Training Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales training manager in Georgia?
Most Georgia employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field combined with hands-on sales experience before moving into a training role. There is no state-issued license required to work as a sales training manager in Georgia. Earning a recognized credential such as the ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development or a sales-specific coaching certification strengthens candidacy, particularly at the large technology and financial services firms concentrated in the Atlanta metro.
How much do sales training managers make in Georgia?
Sales training managers in Georgia earn a median of about $132,120 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $77,800 for the lowest 10% to over $222,370 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales training managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring sales training managers in Georgia right now include DriveTime Automotive, Domino's, and L'Oréal, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of technology companies and financial institutions in the Atlanta corridor means many of these openings sit inside large enterprise sales organizations with formal enablement functions.
Which Georgia cities have the most sales training manager jobs?
Atlanta, Athens, and Norcross have the most sales training manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the largest share because it is home to a dense cluster of Fortune 500 headquarters, major fintech and SaaS companies, and enterprise software firms, while Alpharetta's status as a technology hub and Savannah's growing logistics and distribution sector create consistent secondary demand.
Are there remote sales training manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than many management roles, because a significant portion of sales training now involves virtual facilitation, e-learning development, and digital coaching tools that do not require physical presence. About 33% of sales training manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broad adoption of virtual enablement platforms. Curriculum design, content development, and LMS administration tend to be the most remote-friendly parts of the role.
How can I get hired as a sales training manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a strong individual contributor sales role into a training coordinator or sales enablement specialist position before stepping up to manager. Large Georgia employers like NCR Voyix, ADP, and the major insurance carriers based in Atlanta regularly post entry-level enablement or onboarding coordinator roles that serve as direct pipelines. Building a portfolio of training materials, facilitating internal onboarding, or completing an ATD credential signals readiness to hiring managers when formal management experience is limited.
Where can I find and apply to sales training manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to sales training manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to the state. Search the available roles, find ones that match your experience and target location, and apply directly to the employers posting them.
