Sales Training Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales training manager in Florida?
Most Florida employers expect candidates to have held a quota-carrying sales role before moving into training, typically in insurance, real estate, financial services, or technology. A bachelor's degree in business, communications, or organizational development is the common baseline. Florida does not issue a state license for sales trainers, but roles in insurance sales training often expect familiarity with Florida Department of Financial Services licensing requirements so trainers can coach licensed agents accurately.
How much do sales training managers make in Florida?
Sales training managers in Florida earn a median of about $118,290 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $68,750 for the lowest 10% to over $207,030 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales training managers in Florida?
Employers hiring sales training managers in Florida right now include Hudson's Furniture, CITY HOME, and Sherwin-Williams, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's large insurance carriers, residential construction groups, and multi-unit restaurant and hospitality companies are particularly consistent sources of sales training manager openings across the state.
Which Florida cities have the most sales training manager jobs?
Tampa, Jacksonville, and Miami consistently post the highest concentration of sales training manager openings in Florida. Miami draws heavily from financial services, insurance, and international trade companies, Tampa from healthcare technology and banking, and Orlando from hospitality, timeshare, and distribution companies that run large field sales forces requiring formal training infrastructure.
Are there remote sales training manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than many management roles, because curriculum design, e-learning development, and virtual coaching can be done off-site. About 40% of sales training manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting genuine flexibility for the design and administrative side of the work. Roles that involve in-person field coaching or new-hire bootcamps are more likely to require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a sales training manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a top-performing sales representative role into a team lead or sales enablement coordinator position. Large Florida employers in insurance, like those operating under the Florida Department of Financial Services framework, and residential builders run structured onboarding programs where high performers are tapped to train peers. Earning an ATD certificate or building a portfolio of training materials you designed in a previous role gives candidates without a formal title a concrete edge.
Where can I find and apply to sales training manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to sales training manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and other Florida markets. Search the listings, find roles that match your background, and apply directly to the employers posting them.
