Idaho Timber is looking for a motivated professional to join our Lumber Sales Team in Henderson, North Carolina.
This is more than a traditional sales position. Our sales representatives act as lumber market analysts, relationship builders, negotiators, and trusted advisors for customers throughout the United States. Every day involves helping customers solve supply challenges, identifying opportunities in the marketplace, negotiating transactions, and building long-term business relationships.
We have successful team members from a variety of backgrounds. Many did not have previous lumber experience before joining Idaho Timber. If you're naturally curious, enjoy building relationships, communicate well, and like solving problems, we'll provide the industry knowledge and training needed to succeed.
What You'll Do
· Trade various species of dimension softwood lumber
· Track market conditions, pricing trends, and supply availability
· Build and maintain relationships with customers
· Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other platforms
· Negotiate transactions that create value
· Coordinate with manufacturing, transportation, and operations teams
· Grow existing business relationships while developing new accounts
