Enterprise Account Director Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a enterprise account director in Georgia?

Employers consistently favor candidates with a bachelor's degree and a demonstrable record of closing large, complex deals. Familiarity with Atlanta's fintech and SaaS ecosystems and experience with structured sales methodologies like MEDDIC or Challenger strengthen your candidacy significantly.
How much do enterprise account directors make in Georgia?
Enterprise account directors in Georgia earn a median of about $75,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,490 for the lowest 10% to over $158,520 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise account directors in Georgia?
Employers hiring enterprise account directors in Georgia right now include Salesforce, Amazon Web Services, and JFrog, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's dense concentration of technology headquarters, financial services firms, and managed services providers in the Atlanta metro creates consistent year-round demand for this role.
Which Georgia cities have the most enterprise account director jobs?
Atlanta and Augusta account for the highest concentration of enterprise account director openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the bulk of demand as the Southeast's technology and corporate hub, home to major fintech, telecom, and logistics headquarters, while Alpharetta's well-established technology corridor and Augusta's growing cybersecurity and defense contracting sectors contribute meaningfully to openings outside the core city.
Are there remote enterprise account director jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. Enterprise account director work is predominantly relationship-driven and communication-focused, making it well suited to remote or hybrid arrangements. About 56% of enterprise account director openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly technology and SaaS employers have embraced flexible work for senior sales roles. Client-facing travel expectations remain, but day-to-day account management and internal collaboration are commonly performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a enterprise account director in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into an enterprise account executive or strategic account manager role first, which Georgia employers like NCR Atleos, Cox Enterprises, and mid-size Atlanta SaaS companies regularly hire into as feeder positions. Inside sales or business development representative roles at Georgia technology firms offer structured progression into enterprise sales. Earning a Salesforce certification or completing Georgia Tech's Professional Education sales leadership coursework signals seriousness to hiring managers reviewing candidates without a long enterprise title history.
